There are not enough words to describe how amazing the Pinnacle of Hattiesburg makes you and your loved one feel. You can tell it's obviously a community filled with people who genuinely care about their residents and the families who trust them with their loved ones. Janice, the Executive Director, leads with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine heart for the residents. She sets the tone for the entire community, and it shows in the way her team cares for people. Cheyenne, the Director of Nursing, is incredible. She is knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to making sure residents receive the care and attention they deserve. You can tell that nursing here is more than a job to her. Blaine, the Director of Sales and Marketing, is one of those people who makes everyone feel welcome. He is personable, helpful, and genuinely invested in the residents and their families. He goes above and beyond to make people feel like they are part of the Pinnacle family. Audree, the Business Office Director, is always helpful, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. She brings a level of kindness and professionalism that makes navigating the business side of senior living so much easier. Josh, the Director of Dining Services, deserves a huge shoutout as well. He puts so much thought and care into the dining experience, and it is clear that he understands that meals are about much more than food — they are an important part of residents' quality of life. Austin, the Director of Maintenance, is another person who consistently goes above and beyond. He works hard behind the scenes to keep the community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly, and his willingness to help never goes unnoticed. I also want to recognize Taylor and Mackenzie, the physical therapists who are contracted with The Pinnacle. They are both wonderful to work with and bring so much patience, encouragement, and compassion to the residents they serve. Their dedication makes a real difference. What stands out most about The Pinnacle is the TEAM. Every department plays a role, and when you see everyone working together, it becomes clear that the residents truly come first. Whether it is nursing, dining, maintenance, business, sales and marketing, or therapy, there are people here who genuinely care about the lives of the residents. Senior living is not just about providing a place to live or checking boxes — it is about creating a place where people feel safe, valued, respected, and cared for. From the first visit we felt at home. The adjustment was real and hard for my loved one, but the employees and caregivers were so eager to welcome and make sure all accommodations were met. They worked with my family to make the transition easier. The apartments are spacious and the renovations are beautiful! All of the residents are happy there and I have heard not one negative comment from them.
